All animals are offered on a first come, first served basis.
We will not knowingly sell to a minor without parental consent.
Payments and Pricing
Pricing is based on market value at the time the animal is posted as available. Prices are firm unless otherwise noted with ‘OBRO’ after the stated price. If you make an offer on an animal that has 'OBRO' stated and the offer is accepted, be prepared to make your payment within 2 hours or we may not consider further offers from you for any other animals.
Payment in full is required before any animal(s) will be shipped.
We currently accept all major credit cards through PayPal; you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay via PayPal. Zelle is also a great payment option for those comfortable paying with that app. We also accept USPS Money Orders and Cashier's Checks from major banks if they are sent overnight with a tracking number, but they must clear into our account before we will ship the purchased animal(s). All animals are sold on a first come, first served basis, but if you are first to express interest in an animal and need time to transfer funds or get to a post office we will place a temporary hold on the animal for up to 2 hours. In order for us to hold any animal currently listed as available, after the initial 2 hours, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required. Deposits can only be made via Zelle or PayPal friends to protect our non-refundable deposit rule. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, but are fully transferable if applied to another animal or item before the end if the same year. The animal placed on hold must be paid for in full within 72 hours of the initial deposit, unless we discuss and agree on a payment plan. If the balance is not paid off with in the 72 hour window the animal will be re-listed and will be available for others to purchase. Due to the high number of inquiries we receive no animal will be held, past the initial 2 hours, without a deposit.
Payment plans might be considered for certain animals during certain times of the year. Payment plan durations are dependent on total price of the animal(s). We may offer a 14 day, 30 day and up to 60 day payment plan. If you lapse on your payment plan the deposit is forfeited and the animal will be re-listed for sale. If you have a special circumstance that is preventing you from paying off your payment plan on time please reach out to us ahead of time so we can try to work out an adjusted arrangement.
***Do not cancel or request a refund of payment via PayPal at anytime. If a refund is deemed necissary we will process it on our end.
Please be aware of your own local wildlife laws and regulations. The buyer is responsible for knowing their state laws; no shipments will be knowingly sent in violation of any state or federal laws.
If seriously interested in a currently available animal send us a message or email with your zip code and we can get you a shipping quote. Shipping details will be arranged with the customer once payment has been received in full.
We ship via FedEx Express priority overnight to your home, work (if permitted) or your local FedEx Center. Next day delivery is typically delivered by 10:30 am, but some locations that are further from the FedEx hub may not be delivered until Noon or even 4:30pm. Currently we ship throughout the contiguous US (this excludes Alaska & Hawaii). We can, and even prefer, to ship as Hold For Pick up at your nearest FedEx Center especially for packages that have a later delivery time. Please note that this option may be the only one offered by us during temperature extremes to avoid putting the animal(s) in harms way.
We generally ship out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, though if needed other shipping days might be possible. If you are only available to receive on a Saturday this is possible, but not recommended.
To avoid added travel time on a FedEx truck we drop off our shipments at our local FedEx Center.
*We cannot offer credits or refunds on the shipping cost for replacement of animals.
*Local Pick up – Unfortunately, due to increasing security concerns in the reptile hobby, we will not be allowing local pickup from our location. If you are local or are coming into Colorado and would like to pick up your order we can arrange to meet you in a public place.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee all our animals will arrive alive and healthy as long as the following conditions are adhered to.
The buyer, or another adult, must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt or the live arrival guarantee will be considered void. If the package is being held for pick up at a FedEx Center the person receiving must pick up the package within 4 hours of the FedEx Center being open for business. *(Be sure to bring a photo id when picking up a package. The name on the package must match the name on your id.)
If you make a mistake in the shipping address that you provide us with and that leads to the delivery of the shipment being delayed this will also result in the live arrival guarantee being void.
Upon arrival you must open your package immediately and inspect the animal to ensure it made the trip safely. We require you to message us within 1 hour of the delivery time stamp to inform us of the condition of the animal upon arrival. This is so we know that the package is not just sitting outside your front door or going unopened on a table. Failure to message us within that time frame will void any claims of a DOA or a visually unhealthy animal. on the very rare chance that there is a problem with an animal that you have received from us a timely message is needed so we can access the situation and provide adequate advice. For an animal that is dead on arrival (DOA) or not visibly healthy upon arrival we require an immediate message with photographed and/or video evidence. For an animal that arrives not visibly healthy we will want you to provide frequent updates over the first few days.
Please retain the dead animal in a zip lock type bag in your freezer as well as the shipping box and all other materials in the case that further proof of death is required.
We are not responsible for carrier delays or mishandling resulting in DOAs. We can however purchase shipping insurance for your shipment, at the buyer’s expense, and this can cover the cost of the animal and shipping if the death is found to be the result of a covered carrier delay through the shipping company.
We cannot guarantee live arrival if you choose a Saturday delivery and there is a delay as this delay will likely mean your animal will not arrive until Monday.
All animals are guaranteed to be healthy, feeding and properly sexed (unless being sold as unsexed, probable sex or temperature sexed). Not all animals are sexable at the time of sale.
The following shows how the sex of an animal is noted on our site: 1.0 = Male 0.1 =Female 0.0.1 =unknown
An incorrectly sexed animal can be returned to us (shipping cost at the buyers expense) for a refund, credit or replacement when available.
No animal will be shipped unless it is consistently feeding and growing. There is no specific health guarantee on any of our animals other than live arrival and that at time of shipment they are healthy, eating and growing appropriately. Once you have received your animal we have no control over the care that that animal receives from you, but we are always available to answer questions and provide guidance on proper care. If you are noticing anything unusual about the animal inform us immediately and keep us frequently updated so we can help address any issues or changes that need to be made promptly.
We are not responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by the buyer for any animal. If you take an animal to a veterinarian, you do so entirely at your own expense unless we provide our written permission to do so via message or email.
Where genetics are concerned, we guarantee the genetics of all the animals we sell. Animals we produced that are 100%, 66%, or 50% Heterozygous (Het) will come with a breeders certificate stating such. Animals that are sold as 100% Het or the homozygous form are guaranteed to be carriers of said trait. Animals sold as 66% or 50% possible Het are just that, a possible het. Possible Hets have the potential to carry said gene, but only breeding them can prove or disprove the possibility of those genetics being present in said aminal.
We strive to ensure that our website is kept up-to-date, but certain circumstances may prevent this from always being possible. Currently our website cannot be updated from a tablet or mobile device so if availability changes while we are way from home we will not be able to make the necessary update to our website until we return home.
We may make changes to the content in our care sheets as we develop/learn new techniques that we feel better suit the animals.
